Reading and Reaction: What is Biomedia?

Going into Eugene Thacker’s article What is Biomedia?, I very much identified with the sentiment expressed in the title. I was quite unfamiliar with the details of the concept of “Biomedia” and could only really make guesses as to what they actually were based on my breaking down of the term into its two main conceptual components: Bio and media. My general understanding of these components stems from a visualization of the term sitting at the crossroads between biology and media.
